My research activity is based on extensive use of programmes for language data description and structuring, such as PRAAT, ELAN, Toolbox and Fieldwork Explorer. They are freely available on the web.
My interest in studying languages, the fact that I find it easy to understand and learn new pieces of software and my curiosity of computer programming, opened up my way to computational linguistics, automatic language processing and informatics in general. So far, I have provided feedback in the development of a new version on the ELAN software created by Christian Chanard et Coralie Villes in the context of the ANR-founded CorpAfroAs international group project, based in France.
